As the player finds himself in a variety of difficult situations during his round, the caddie explains through true and entertaining stories what great players of the past and present have done to turn the tide of life in their favor.
Starting with the big dreams of Calvin Peete and ending with the persistence of Ben Hogan, the book touches on all the key aspects that can make a difference in each person’s business, career, or life in a practical and motivational way. These include goal setting, preparation, creativity, problem solving, marketing, planning, and determination. Wood says the traits he learned from reading about, observing, and interviewing the world’s greatest players played a large part in his own success.
